ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain the physical order of the building and therapeutic environment of the units.
Develop and maintain schedules within the assigned campus residential unit, ensuring that there is adequate staff to meet regulatory requirements and safety requirements.
Responsible to ensure that youth in our care are being supervised according to regulatory and programmatic standards.
Design, implement and supervise program activity which will lead to the attainment of goals described within treatment plans.
Supervise and evaluate the work of residential staff assigned to residential programs.
Maintain records as directed by the Residential Program Manager.
Participate in the interviewing and selection of new staff members.
Participate in the training of residential staff.
Conduct residential staff meetings.
Participate in the evaluation of youth referred to the Agency for residential care.
Conduct the financial activity of the residential unit in accordance with guidelines established by the Residential Program Manager and the Director.
Responsible for managing program funds, purchasing food, clothing, household supplies, managing youth allowances
Participate/organize program and agency wide special events and services.
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food (cooking when necessary), medical care, a reliable and nurturing environment.
Participate in program on call rotation
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises non-exempt employees. Supervises and evaluates the work of individuals; has responsibility for subordinate performance and output.
LEADERSHIP

Athletics Equipment Manager
Supervisor: Assistant Director of Athletics - Business Operations
Pay status and classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This is a 12-month position.
Position Purpose: Oversees, organizes, and directs all aspects of the athletics equipment area in support of the mission and core values of Union College. Union College sponsors 26 intercollegiate sports, 24 in Division III, with Ice Hockey competing at Division I.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operations: Manages the day to day services of the athletics equipment room. Coordinates laundry room operations with coaches to ensure needs are met. Maintains inventory for accurate equipment and apparel records. Oversees distribution, collection and maintenance of records. Collaborates with Hockey Equipment Manager to ensure successful oversight of services for programs.
- Safety: Ensures proper fitting and adjustment of equipment for intercollegiate programs to provide a safe environment for student-athletes. Ensures all equipment and apparel is ready for safe use and remains current with industry standards for safety. Successfully maintains Athletic Equipment Manager Association (AEMA) certification.
- Administration: Oversees the purchasing of equipment and apparel for intercollegiate sport programs. Collaborates with coaches for program needs, create purchase orders, projecting apparel and equipment budgets. Builds relationships with athletics vendors. Continually evaluates policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness of equipment room operations. Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates staff of work-study workers. Adheres to NCAA, College and athletic department policies. Pitches in to assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of successful experience in athletics equipment operations and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience, including football and ice hockey.
- Knowledge of maintaining equipment for ice hockey and football to ensure safety.
- Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA certification) or the intent to complete the certification once eligible.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends for equipment operations at practices and games, which include home and away contests.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
- Must possess or obtain a valid New York State driver’s license.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of federal, state, local, and NCAA, rules, policies and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including attention to detail.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$55,000.00. The primary duties of the Night Shift Supervisor will strive to achieve the production and
distribution objectives of the company using supervisory methods and coaching techniques. Is
responsible for warehouse training, developing warehouse personnel to ensure accurate, on
time, and damage free movement of product shipped out of the warehouse. Will help build a
team environment of well-trained employees. Employ excellent communication skills to facilitate

• Supervises warehouse union employees. Working knowledge and a thorough
understanding of the Collective Bargaining Unit Contract is required.
• Expected to provide staff coaching for improvement as well as praise for a job well done.
• Works with all hourly employees to insure the accurate picking of orders and proper
loading of trucks.
• Must have knowledge of SAP, Lucas, and all warehouse management systems.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules,
and regulations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises members of the night warehouse team. Works closely with Management to direct the
workflow in an efficient and professional manner. Is responsible for providing effective
leadership while fostering a positive team environment and providing overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of the department. Performs supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; recognizing,
rewarding, and coaching; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certifications and/or licenses
EXPERIENCE:
-High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
-At least 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
-Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems.
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
-Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication
skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.
-Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and
meets deadlines.
